The JDZ02 (05)-1 Rain Gauge is a hydrological and meteorological instrument designed to measure natural rainfall. It converts the rainfall amount into digital information output in the form of switching signals to meet the needs of data transmission, processing, recording, and display. This instrument is the first domestically developed 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm tipping bucket rain gauge, suitable for long-term rainfall data collection at national hydrological and meteorological stations. When paired with recording or display units, this instrument enables wired rainfall data transmission, display, and automatic recording. It can also be integrated with wireless flood monitoring and reporting systems to serve as a dedicated sensor for remote rainfall measurement and flood reporting. **Structure and Basic Working Principle** The instrument consists of a rainfall receiver component and a measurement component. The rainfall receiver opening adopts the international standard diameter of Φ200 mm. The measurement assembly is a tipping bucket mechanical bistable weighing mechanism, which functions to convert rainfall depth (in mm) into switching signal outputs. **Features** The tipping bucket component of this instrument features an exquisitely manufactured support system with low frictional torque, ensuring high sensitivity, stable performance, and reliable operation. The rainfall receiver opening is made from stainless steel through integrated stamping and drawing processes, resulting in a smooth surface that minimizes errors caused by water retention. The instrument’s housing is constructed from stainless steel, offering strong rust resistance and excellent aesthetic quality.
